Welcome to Volvo Car Australia ‘Volvo Cars’ The purpose of the following statement is to help you understand how Volvo Cars and its service providers and retailers collect, use, and safeguard the personal information you provide on this web site.

We reserve the right not to proceed with any order where we feel that it will put us, the recipient, or any other party in a vulnerable position either financially or for any other justifiable reason. We will contact every customer placing an order to notify them of the cancellation providing a viable contact email has been given. We may not be prepared to incur extra expense, other than to use email to cancel such an order.

Delivery:

It may take 2-10 business days for your order to be delivered to your nominated address. The delivery of your order may be delayed if an incorrect or incomplete address is provided, personal or payment details require verification for fraud prevention purposes, a product is not stocked near to your nominated address or there are other factors outside of our control.

The estimated delivery date is provided to you as a guide only. Unfortunately, circumstances may change beyond our control which may lead to a delay in your order being delivered on time. We will not accept liability for any delay in procuring the ordered goods that is beyond reasonable control (ie. unavailable stock).

Damaged Shipments:

Upon receiving your order, inspect all packages thoroughly for missing, damaged or incorrect parts. Our warehouse put forth every effort to prevent shipping damage however, it does occur occasionally. If you receive a damaged part, do not accept the package, have the shipper immediately return to sender. If the shipper has left a damaged package in your absence, immediately contact the shipper and have the package returned to sender. We must be contacted immediately if any of the above occurs to prevent you being charged freight on both ways. We are not responsible for missing, damaged, or incorrect parts after 15 business days, regardless of the party at fault. We are also not responsible for lost or stolen packages and all claims for such must be processed through the shipping company.

Return Policy:

We will accept authorised returns 15 calendar days after the date of the shipment and delivery to the customer. Authorised returns must be in the complete and original packaging. If your shipment has arrived with a damaged or incorrect item, please repackage items in its original shipping container, contact us and we will arrange for its return. All authorised returns must be in their original condition including all components and cannot be disassembled, mounted or damaged due to incorrect installation. Returns with missing components will not be credited. We are not responsible for installation errors, nor will we cover any labour expenses, towing expenses, rental car expenses caused by the use of wrong or defective parts during installation. Electrical parts are not returnable if plugged in or unsealed for any reason. Freight charges are not reimbursable unless the return is a direct result of our error.

Refund policy:

Returned products must be in new, unused condition and ordered no more than 30 days ago. Products must be returned in the original box and/or packaging. Once we receive your return and inspect it (usually within 48 hours of receipt), your refund will be processed and a credit will be applied to your credit card or original payment methods. Please note that depending on your credit card company, it may take an additional 2-10 business days after your credit is applied for it to be posted to your account.

All returns should be discussed with your supplying dealer prior to return. A return address will be confirmed by your supplying Dealer. You are responsible for all return shipping costs.

Special Orders:

Some parts and accessories may need to be special ordered, and we will notify you if this is the case. Please note that special order parts cannot be returned or refunded. Our team will work with you to ensure you have ordered the correct parts for your Volvo.

Restocking Fee:

A return fee may be charged on all returns that are not the direct result of our error. Refunds for returns or cores will be process and credited within 72 to 96 hours after we receive and confirm your return is in good standing with our policies. All cores must be returned in their original packaging from the manufacture. Please be aware most financial institutions may take 4-7 business days to post the credit to your account or credit card.

Warranty:

Volvo warranties their original equipment parts for two years from the date of purchase.

Extra Warranty support through a Volvo retailer:

When you let an authorised Volvo retailer take care of your car, you will be eligible for our Customer Parts Warranty on eligible parts installed by your authorised Volvo Service Centre. So, letting our expert technicians repair your Volvo using Volvo Genuine Parts will always give you a little extra peace of mind – whether or not you’re driving a new model. This warranty is non-transferable. The coverage only applies to the original purchaser of the part. Proof of previous purchase and installation at an authorised Volvo retailer is necessary for coverage. This warranty does not cover parts replaced under your Volvo New Car Warranty. Information Collection:
